Eco-Tourism is an excellent option for those nature lovers. It is practiced in the nearby family´s farm called Tacamabarú (consists of 594 acres), and it is located only 2km from the house. The farm also includes fieldtrips in the middle of the Atlantic Forest, which is a great idea especially for cloudy days.
It also produces a large amount of heart of palm locally known as “Palmito Pupunha”, originated in Peru, which is distributed in the best restaurants of São Paulo.
Tacambarú farm is one of the few properties that deals with environmental issues such as the preservation of local species. The preservation of the flora is extremely important because of its effect on the fauna. The Atlantic Forest is famous on its biodiversity of animals such as, monkeys, squirrels, toucans, armadillos, wild-pigs, parrots and many others.
